We participated in the Race for the Cure on Saturday. It started out a bit chilly, but the weather was perfect later in the day. We had 14 walkers plus two babies along for the walk.
While we did finish near last, right in front of a lady on crutches, we had fun anyway! We started at the very back of the pack and therefore finished at the back as well. Not to mention thinking we were finished already and making some pit stops along the way before realizing we still needed to cross the finish line! Doh!
Our team raised$1700. Thank you to everyone who donated. Team "Girls Step Out" really appreciates it!
